 Bob Mack - REALTOR®
Bob Mack

Hello, my name is Bob Mack and I would like to welcome you to the BRIGGS REALTY GROUP web site. As a Broker Owner and a member of a highly trained team of professionals, I would like to personally thank you for viewing this site.

The Briggs Realty Group was founded on one very important principle; INTEGRITY.    Our motto is, “EXPERIENCE THE TRADITION” and the most essential component to that tradition is TRUST. All of us at the BRIGGS REALTY GROUP realized long before this Company was founded, was that if you’re going to be successful in this business, it starts with PERSONAL COMMITMENT. Whether you are a Buyer or a Seller, it would be our pleasure to make your Real Estate experience an enjoyable one.

A little bit about me: I have lived in Rock County all of my life. I grew up in Beloit, went to College at UWSP and MATC, married my high school sweetheart, moved to Janesville, raised two daughters, and have three grandchildren. I have been a small business owner for 30 years and have been involved in Real Estate in many facets over that same period of time. My experience is wide ranged, including: commercial, residential, developmental, construction, and I have experience in both zoning and annexation. I am a full time Realtor, I love the outdoors and all that it has to offer, I can be a shirt and tie guy, but I’m far more comfortable in a pair of blue jeans and a baseball cap, but more then anything else I’m first and foremost a PEOPLE PERSON.

In closing, I would like to thank you for your time in reading this and if I can assist you with your Real Estate needs, it would be both my honor and privilege.

Sincerely,

Bob Mack

THINGS TO KNOW AND DO WHEN LOOKING TO LIST YOUR HOME

1). ECONOMIC CONDITIONS: What are the present day market conditions and where are interest rates at? The condition of a market place is generally predicated on one basic rule; Supply and Demand. If there are more homes then there are buyers, then the market is generally going to benefit the buyer. If there are more buyers then there are homes to sell, then the market is generally going to benefit the seller. Lower interest rates tend to stimulate the market, while higher interest rates tend to slow the market.

2). WHY ARE YOU SELLING YOUR HOUSE: Do you need a bigger home or are you looking to downsize? Are you moving out of the area? Are you having problems with the affordability of the home your in? No matter what the reason is, make sure that the Realtor you choose to work with is cognizant of your situation and can implement an appropriate Marketing Strategy that best suits your situation.

3). DO YOU WANT TO LIST YOUR HOME OR DO YOU WANT TO SELL YOUR HOME: You’re probably asking yourself, aren’t they both one in the same? The answer is an emphatic no. Any licensed Real Estate Agent can list your home. The question is; do you want a Real Estate Agent doing something more to sell your home then simply putting it on the local MLS, with the hope that another Agent will find a buyer for your home? Or do you want a Real Estate Agent listing your home that is going to use every marketing tool available in today’s technological world to find a buyer for your home?

4). IS YOUR HOME IN SELLING CONDITION: Have you ever walked through a house that you had a possible interest in and left there thinking; that was awful. Generally, it has absolutely nothing to do with the structure of the house; it has to do with the general up keep of the house. Always do a thorough examination of your home and make it as appealing as possible to any potential buyer. To much furniture, dirty carpeting, animal odors, marred walls, or the lack of the basic general everyday cleaning principles are a few examples of negative appeal. Always make sure your home is in presentation condition.

5). DOES YOUR HOME HAVE CURB APPEAL: When a potential buyer shows up to view any home, the first thing they see is the outside of the home. The impression that leaves will ultimately affect the way they view the entire property, know matter how nice the inside of the house presents itself. Always keep the exterior; be it the yard, scrubs, flowers and other deciduous material in a groomed condition. If there are areas on the house that need cleaning or painting, then do so.
